Obama subrayó que el presidente «confía en hacer que sea lo más difícil posible» que se vote en los comicios, en referencia a los intentos de Trump de dificultar el voto por correo y animó a los estadounidense a que no permitan que «les quiten su democracia». «Háganlo lo más pronto que puedan», instó.«Nunca esperé que mi sucesor aceptara mi visión o continuara con mis políticas.
Esperaba, por el bien de nuestro país, que Donald Trump pudiera mostrar algún interés en tomarse el trabajo en serio (...) Pero nunca lo hizo», recalcó Obama. «No ha mostrado ningún interés en tratar la Presidencia como algo diferente a un reality show más, que puede usar para obtener la atención que ansía.
